The Govt. College Dhaliara was established in 1973. The apart from other subjects the Hindi has also been teaching in this college since 1973. The post graduate classes in the subject of Hindi was started in the year 2003. There are three sanctioned post of teaching faculty in the department of Hindi in this college. The most of the students in undergraduate courses are interested in the subject of Hindi. In the post graduate courses apart from the subjects of English and Economics, most of the students are enrolled in the subject of Hindi. Every year the department admits 30 students for M.A. 1^st Semester. A good proportion of male and female students as well as reservation category students for M.A. Hindi are admitted every year. The department has complete autonomy as far as academic programs are concerned.
